Engineer Job in San Leandro, California

I am a singer/songwriter and I would like to record and release at least one single per year starting 2017. My musical director, Mr. Doug Jones, highly recommended you as a resource, I would like information on the process and steps involved in completing a record/project. I have recorded and released one single previously so I have some idea. However, I have never worked in a large studio environment.
