Engineer in Calgary, Alberta

I am a physicist with a MSc in Electronics Engineering. My area of expertise is the optics and photonics field, but I have knowledge in electronic and photonic technologies in very different levels, from semiconductors or lasers to embedded systems or photonic integrated circuits. I have years of experience with electronics devices, lasers and laboratory equipment. I worked through with physics simulations in Matlab and Simulink and completed two courses on programming C/C and its application in Vivado HLS (Xilinx) and Energia MT software. Also, I know optics software as Lumerical, DiaLUX and Labview. Nowadays, I have an open work permit in Canada and I am looking for a new job in British Columbia or Alberta that allows me to improve my overall skills as an electronics engineer and physicist. I am skilled at planning, executing and reporting experiments, using technical equipment and paying attention to detail; which can be prove by the Honors qualification obtained in my masters’ thesis.I’m able to work in multicultural environments and positions where communication is important, and situations where teamwork is essential. I am a fast learner and I have a good ability to work under pressure and to schedule the given tasks.
